Memphis joined the Red Devils this summer in a £25m deal from PSV Eindhoven after a stunning season in the Dutch Eredivisie in which he finished top scorer with 22 goals.

But the 21-year-old has made an indifferent start to his Old Trafford career despite starting all seven games so far this season.

Memphis impressed in the Champions League play-off against Club Brugge, scoring twice in the first leg, but has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League and was substituted at half-time against Liverpool on Saturday.
